I’m currently taking commissions for portraits—both people and pets. I enjoy detailed graphite drawings as well as painting in gouache and oils.

Growing up in a household of biologists near San Diego, I’ve been surrounded by local animals of our desert habitat. This gave me a great appreciation for nature. I’ve also been able to experience many different environments, from Socal beaches to living in Frankfurt, Germany. From studying in downtown Los Angeles, traveling through Japan and Costa Rica, to diving in the Florida Keys. I aim to incorporate these global perspectives into my creative work. 

I’ve been particularly enjoying pet portraiture. It is greatly satisfying to capture the personality of devoted canine companions, and my clients have told me that their portaits mean much more to them than a photograph.
